Julia has performed in the Broadway, Pre-Broadway, National and International Tour productions of SHOWBOAT, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, DAMN YANKEES, MY FAIR LADY, A CHORUS LINE, WEST SIDE STORY, and MAME. Other New York credits include: AN IDEAL HUSBAND, JANE EYRE, WUTHERING HEIGHTS, THE SECRET RAPTURE, and LOOK BACK IN ANGER. She has performed regionally in HAMLET, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES, AGNES OF GOD, and DANCING AT LUGHNASA, as well as MACK AND MABEL, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, and THE BOYFRIEND, which won her a Carbonelle Award Nomination. She has been in over 30 commercials and industrials and is most proud of her Pepsi commercial which won the coveted Silver Lion Award at the Cannes Advertising Festival in France. Julia can also be heard as the voice of the ‘The Evil Queen’ in the acclaimed animated series SNOW WHITE AND THE 7 DWARFS for Candlelightstories.com. She has worked with Hal Prince, Jerome Robbins, Susan Stroman, James Hammerstein, Rob Marshall, Jack O’Brien, Garry Marshall, and Bayork Lee. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts from S.F. University and studied acting at the prestigious American Conservatory Theatre. In NY, she studied Shakespeare with Stuart Vaughn and singing with Edward Sayegh. Now a resident of Los Angeles, she splits her time between teaching, performing, and writing. Julia has written 5 musicals and is a member of AEA, SAG, AFTRA, and The Dramatists Guild.
